This is our hotel on this trip to NYC. It is the Helmsley Park Lane and it is located across the street from Central Park, and a few doors down the street from the famous Plaza Hotel. With a corporate rate of $300 per night it was much more expensive than we normally get.
For that price, we got a room with a king sized bed, and a view of the city from the 20th floor. Each morning we were delivered a newspaper on our door handle. At night, with our turn-down service, we were left several chocolates on the nightstand. The concierge gave us a map of 
Central Park. And Monday morning, I only had to step out to the curb and they waved a cab over for me.
