There is a definite pulling feeling I get every time I drive near any train tracks. It is especially difficult on weekends when my moonlighting job takes me past Union Station at least twice.
Ok, then...I have your trip blog bookmarked. I will be so interested to see how the train part of the trip works. I'd like to take a long train trip myself across the US...maybe Santa Monica to Chicago.
So sorry I won't be able to meet you in SF. Just not doable for me.
