Our lunch on the last day was taken on Bainbridge Island. We rode a ferry over from Pier 50 near Pike Place Market. The ferry took about 35 minutes. We picnicked in a park. Then rode the ferry back. This picture is near our picnic site. They had palm trees there.
Following this we went to Pike Place Market for some shopping. I bought some tea. Donna bought some apple butter and pumpkin butter. Unfortunately, the butters were confiscated at the airport because they were in our carry-on and they were over the 3 oz. limit on liquids/gels. Very disappointing. Donna also picked up a bouquet of flowers for our hostess whose birthday was this weekend.
After running a few more errands, our vacation was over and we caught a late night flight back to Denver - arriving around midnite.
