I boupht myself a $20 Metro Card, which gave me 12 rides on the subways or buses. People move fast down there. You have to be on your toes. The entrance turnstiles are often the same ones used for exit. One time I was trying to go in, people were coming out, and in the confusion I turned it without me in it and wasted that fare.
